A lovely fire at a very reasonable priceWe have set the fire inside a chimney breast by cutting out a hole in the breast the size of the fire. It looks just like the photo of a fire in a breast on the Amazon website. Having previously cut the hole and put in the necessary electric point inside the chimney with switch on the wall next to chimney breast installation was easy. We had just one issue. In the position we were putting it it had to be fitted from the front and really it is designed to be put in from behind eg to a fire surround which is afterwards secured against the wall. Thus for us the screws around the perimeter are still visible. When seller approached they were very helpful but were unable to supply a trim to cover these. This isn't a big deal as my husband will make a trim probably in wood and paint it black. The seller has generously refunded me £15 because of being unable to supply a trim. Very happy with this. Otherwise the fire looks lovely, is very modern and cheers the room. The possible changes in flame colour are really great and can change the mood of the room. The heat control and timer facility really useful. It's very quiet when in use. The price relative to more traditional electric fires is just another plus. Would highly recommend.

Excellant fire insertPurchased this to replace a broken fire, after cutting hole to fit this into a previous fire surround it has been great and kicks out enough heat for our front room. A little noisey but this is just the fan at the top, but you get used to it.

Looks really realisticI like this fire I just have the glow on for cosiness as we have the heating on. It has handles at the sides to make it easy to move about. It's pretty quiet too when the heater is switched on. You can still hear the TV.
