Decent for the moneyA decent kitchen island for the money (I paid about £75 for it). It is practical with a drawer, shelves, cupboard and towel rail. Not difficult to put together if you're competent at flat pack furniture assembly. However, the manufacturing isn't the most accurate; the slot for the backing board for example didn't line up across pieces (see photo). My finger got stabbed by a loose metal splinter from picking up the supplied allen key. Also, while two of the wheels do lock, they're not the most solid when locked, so there can be slight movement, for example when I push the microwave door button (my microwave is on top of the island). So you do get what you pay for in some regards, but overall I'm satisfied with the value and the final product.

Great space saving unitVery hard to assemble I had to get someone else to do it! But once assembled I am very pleased with it just what I needed for my small kitchen

Highly recommend it!Have been using this for 6 months and it still feels brand new! The wood is really good quality and the wheels are so helpful to move it around without needing too much strength or scratching the floors. Even though it is a bit small for using it as a countertop for baking or cutting multiple products, I would still highly recommend it as a kitchen island for small spaces! Storage is way bigger than it seems in the pictures.

A pain to put together - when it's done it's great thoughThe instructions say this takes two people 30 minutes to put together. I'm not sure which superheroes they managed that time with, but my partner left for work after an hour and it took me another 3 hours to get all of the many screws and hardware in place on my own.
The instructions themselves are partially to blame here. More than once we had to undo several stages of work because there was either an error in the instructions or the factory had mis-labelled some similar looking hardware - be particularly careful with the drawer rails, ours had one incorrect name on a sticking label and the correct one stamped into the metal.
Despite all that, I love this thing. It's given us so much more space in our tiny apartment kitchen, and the whole unit feels incredibly sturdy, to the extent that I'd probably be comfortable putting multiple heavy gadgets like a stand mixer on there if I needed to.
If you're willing to put yourself through the time it takes to build this, I'd definitely say it's worth it.Posted on
