Practical & Multi purposeThis is a very good product and it arrived the next day of ordering even though I don't use Prime.
Out of the box it is two sections which can be used separately but the instructions are to bolt together one on top of the other, this makes it very tall, 3ft at least and you will need 600ltrs ( 12x50ltr compost to fill it ) Instructions say to join together by using one bolt hole on the top section and one bolt hole on the bottom section, it comes with two sizes of bolts the longer ones are for bolting the sections together, the shorter bolts for fixing the panels together. Because it was too tall for my use I got some more of the longer bolts from the local DIY and bolted the sections on top of each other using three bolt holes and not just the one, this not only reduced the height but made the side panels stronger so less likely to spread when filled with soil/compost etc. It is powder coated silver and a good finish so dose not need painting.
Tip :- If the bolt holes don't align up use a screwdriver in a bolt hole above or below where the bolt is going to adjust the panels.
Tip :- Leave the bolts finger tight until all the bolts are in place and then go round and fully tighten.
The instructions say one person can put this together but it is easier and quicker with two.Posted on

Almost perfectThese are almost perfect, been so versatile. I chose to use my 3 to create 3 long, low beds and 3 circular low beds, as I garden sat down as due to disabilities I can't stand for any length of time. I did build a tall, long bed as a test also (80cm high), but this was too high to work on from sitting.
The beds look really nice, and are made of a fairly high quality metal. However, no bracing is supplied with the beds, and there really should be. I've purchased a 3mm steel rope kit and pack of m5 eyes and nuts in order to add my own braces, as although the metal isn't overly flimsy, compost and soil once wet become VERY heavy, and bowing is a very real risk, prevention is better than cure. So yeah, these would get 5 stars if they came with bracing. They're good quality metal, look good and have no sharp edges. They even come with rubber edging that you can fit around the tops, although you don't really need it as the top and bottom edges are rolled, probably be handy in hot weather though when the metal gets hot, to stop contact burns when working over them.Posted on

Awkward to make up.Great hight looks super but hard work to assemble wing nuts and washer awkward to tighten. Had to stop was hands got really painful. (May be an age problem.) Heavy to move when built. But all in all pleased with them soo much easier to word a waist level.

Great raised bed for the price.I bought three of them and they look nice and solid and I’m filling them up by the Hugelkultur way, the only blip was the rubber strips that fit on to the sharp top edges were missing but after contacting Amazon they put me in contact with the sellers who promised me they would order more for me and post them on.

So pleased with these planters. Lots of space to grow my veg.Easy to assemble. Look great. Lots of space to grow my vegetables. I got the tall ones so no more back ache from bending over. Also great for trailing plants. Will be ordering more.
