170 CM Computer Desk with Monitor Stand and File Drawer

I was a bit wary buying this desk as there were pretty much no reviews however, it fitted my needs well and most of the other lines by the same supplier seemed to have decent reviews so I took a punt.
The overall quality is good. Everything is solid and goes together well. The construction is relatively simple and tools are supplied. The only negative on the build front was the instructions.
Because some of the detail on the plans is tiny, on some of the steps where you need to orientate the pieces in a certain way it's occasionally really hard to see what the correct orientation should be. This means you either have to stop working and sit and go through the next few steps to see if you can work out which side the odd hole or clip should go, or take a guess and hope for the best. Only ended up with two small rewinds during my build but was really wowed by the product and just felt the instructions let it down a bit.
The other let down didn't become apparent until toward the end of the build process. Something that's really not clear from the advert on Amazon, is the "drawers" (and I use the word loosely), aren't really drawers in the normal sense of the word.
The first supposed drawer is on the desktop and is in fact nothing more that a fold out canvas tray with a couple of back-stops screwed into the desk to stop if falling out of the back of the unit.
The second, which I was initially impressed with due to it having a solid wood bottom rather than the flimsy card-like insert usually supplied with self build units, actually has wheels rather than rails and just rolls along the floor into a space under the printer shelf. Probably not too much of an issue if used on wood flooring, but even on a relatively shallow pile carpet such as I have in my office the weight causes dents in the carpet and the drawer kind of just settles into these meaning it's not always square and flush with the rest of the unit.
I am actually pretty happy overall with the desk. It looks decent, feels solid and is functional. It's just a bit disappointing that what has the bones of a really good product has a couple of failings that seem out of place, like someone just forgot the drawers were supposed to be part of the design and tried to bodge their way out of it after the fact.
